In Search Of…me

For many years and over many runs I have found myself writing in my head. It was only small things like letters, posts, or starting chapters of the book I may someday write, but those musings never made it anywhere but my head more often than not. This is my attempt to write out all these thoughts along with restaurant reviews that hopefully capture more than Yelp (and from a real person), things I like to eat and drink, my ongoing fitness journey as I venture even further into middle age, and what is going on around me. This wont be an unveiling of secrets necessarily, nor an unburdening of my soul, but more something that is fun, informative, and a way to do what I love in a real way. You may be wondering why, if I love to write so much, I am not a writer. Well the answer to that is simply that I am more practical than not which means I work at a job that pays well as opposed to paying my soul. It works for now….and as I near the end of my career I know that I made the right choice. I have seen the world, I have learned more than I can describe, I’ve met the most amazing people, and I have done things I never thought I could. Now its time to go in search of me…in search of what I think others would like to know, and in search of ways to make people want to eat, drink, and be fit.What are you in search of…..?
